This vintage gave us a red wine with crisp, delicious and flattering fruit, integrated tannins and a nice acidity.
This wine comes from our youngest plots of Rasteau, surrounding the winery, between 260 and 340m of altitude, with clay-limestone soils.
The grapes are hand-picked. They are fully destemmed then fermented in stainless tank, each grape separately. Vatting time is between 21 to 26 days with gentle extraction. The wine is then aged nine months in concrete tank.
Bright red color. Appealing nose of blackcurrants and crushed raspberries. The palate is greedy, with an explosion of red fruits and white pepper notes.
