Rasteau red “Héritage 1924” 2024
Such a gorgeous cuvée. Pure black raspberries, flowery incense, pepper, and assorted fresher Provençal nuances emerge from this beautifully done effort. It’s medium-bodied, has a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and a great finish. Drink this charming effort over the coming decade or so.

CDRV Roaix red “Les Hautes Granges” 2024
Sporting a deep, inky, yet vivid color, the 2024 Roaix Les Hautes Granges offers a classy Syrah nose of blackberries, smoked meats, pepper, and sappy herb notes. It was fully destemmed and aged 12 months in oak barrels and demi-muid. Medium-bodied, concentrated, focused, and balanced, it has ripe tannins and shows the serious character that makes this a standout Syrah. There are roughly 500 cases produced.

CDRV Plan de Dieu red “Calendal” 2024
This wine has a classic Cambie feel in its spicy red and black fruits, roasted herbs, licorice, and gamey, peppery nuances. It’s medium to full-bodied, has a round, sexy, seamless mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and a great finish. This barrel sample is going to hit the ground running and should drink well for at least 7-8 years once released.

Rasteau red “La Ponce” 2024
La Ponce is beautiful all the way. Blackberries, black raspberries, violets, sappy garrigue, and pepper are just some of the nuances that emerge from the glass. It’s medium-bodied, very pure, pretty, and classy, with fine tannins, integrated acidity, and a great finish. Drink this classy Rasteau over the coming decade.

Rasteau red “Classique” 2024
Based on 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah and aged in concrete tanks for nine months, the 2024 Rasteau Classique is a beautiful wine offering darker berries, pepper, meaty and gamey nuances, as well as classic Rasteau roasted herb and garrigue character. It’s medium-bodied and has a concentrated mid-palate, ripe tannins, and outstanding length.

Côtes du Rhône white “La Galopine” 2024
This wine sports a medium gold hue and offers a deeper, richer nose of stone fruits, orange blossom, toast, and crushed stone. It has medium-bodied richness, a nicely balanced, fresher mouthfeel, and a clean finish. It’s another 2024 that brings solid richness and depth while staying lively and balanced.

Rasteau red “Argilla ad Argillam” 2024
Co-fermented with 20% whole clusters in concrete tanks and aged in 600-liter and 400-liter amphorae for nine months, the 2024 Rasteau Argilla Ad Argillam is based on 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. Red and black fruits, spice, cured meats, and leather emerge from the glass, with ample savory, peppery, Provençal nuances. It’s medium-bodied, nicely balanced, and has present tannins. This solid effort will keep for a decade.

Cairanne red “La Boutine” 2024
Coming from 100% Grenache from old vines and aged nine months in concrete tanks and amphora, the 2024 Cairanne La Boutine offers blackberries, peppery herbs, violets, underbrush, and leather. It’s nicely balanced and medium-bodied, with soft tannins and ample charm and character. Drink this appealing Cairanne over the coming 7-8 years.

Cairanne red “Le Ventabren” 2024
Juicy blackberries, violets, flowers, and peppery notes emerge from the 2024 Cairanne Le Ventabren. Based on 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Carignan and aged in concrete tanks for 12 months, it’s beautifully balanced and charming, with ripe tannins and good length. Drink this solid effort over the coming 7-8 years.

Côtes du Rhône white “La Ponce” 2024
This wine is a solid, delicious, medium-bodied white that will shine on the dinner table. Honey peach, tangerine, and floral notes emerge from the glass, and it has good acidity and a kiss of salty mineral on the finish. Drink this crisp effort over the coming 2-5 years.

Côtes du Rhône red “Les Sablières ” 2024
Darker berries, violets, subtle blue fruits, and some charred meat-like nuances all emerge from the 2024 Côtes Du Rhône Les Sablières, a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah aged nine months in concrete tank. It’s medium-bodied and nicely concentrated, has ripe tannins, and a great finish. It plays in the fresher, firmer style of the vintage yet brings ample concentration.
