« White, amber or grenat, we like just about everything about the sweet wines of the Ferran family. That said, we have a slight preference for this grenat, a wine that the Escaravailles only make in the best years. This single variety of old Grenache, aged for six months in barrels, has a nice balance between the ardour of youth, with pretty plum notes, a tannic structure that is still present, and the beginning of an evolution towards more complexity and depth. »
