LE GUIDE HACHETTE DES VINS 2020

Cairanne red “Le Ventabren” 2016
“A domain that is often featured in these pages, which works the old-fashioned way, with ploughing and organic fertiliser. Grenache, Syrah and Carignan form a convincing trio, very fragrant, with floral, fruity, spicy and animal scents. Ripe but vibrant, true to the vintage, the palate is organised around a beautiful acidity and firm tannins. Warm finish. Promising.”
Rasteau red “Héritage 1924” 2017
“A cuvée from old Grenache vines aged in concrete tanks to preserve all the purity of the fruit. Behind a light colour, a nose that is more refined than powerful, singular in its minty freshness. Just as elegant, the palate is a tasty compromise between sweetness and freshness, greediness and tonicity. Pleasant, light and refined, the jury appreciated it.”
