« This small estate has a high proportion of old Mourvèdre and Grenache vines. It was run for a long time by two friends, Gilles Ferran, owner of the Domaine des Escaravailles, and Philippe Cambie, oenologist and adviser to the finest estates in the southern Rhône Valley, until the latter’s death in December 2021. The wines : we find it difficult to distinguish between 2021 and 2022, so we’ve given them the same score. 2021 is less powerful but refined; 2022 is fuller and warmer, with a certain richness. The wine retains a real coherence in both vintages, and that’s the most important thing. » 91/100
