Cairanne rouge “Le Ventabren” 2022
Tasted blind. Raspberry- and strawberry-led nose. Fresh and zippy core, well-integrated alcohol and a nice ripeness on the mid palate. A little tight but all well put together. Needs a year or so to soften.

Carainne rouge “La Boutine” 2022
Tasted blind. Attractive but reticent red-fruit-led nose. Firm tannins with a nice lick of graphite and salinity underneath the chewy tannic core. Needs time to suck up the grippy tannins but has sufficient fruit to do so.

Rasteau rouge “Classique” 2022
Tasted blind. Soft red fruit on the nose. lovely freshness on the attack with bright sweet red fruits and lovely firm but textured tannins. A subtle salinity underneath adds energy and vitality. A rounded supple finish, very enjoyable.

Rasteau “Les Coteaux” 2022
Tasted blind. A ripe palate with plenty of freshness and energy. Good freshness on the finish, too. Quite tightly wound yet has good potential and an attractive core of fruit.

Rasteau rouge “La Ponce” 2022
Tasted blind. Kirsch and dark cherries on the nose. Bright vivid fruit and densely wound fine tannins. Moderate acidity and feels a little tight at the moment.

Rasteau rouge “Argilla ad Argillam” 2022
Tasted blind. A little earthy and meaty on the nose. Rich and a wild animal note to the fruit, tannins are slightly angular and need to integrate.
