“A small 4.5 ha estate created in 2006 in Plan-de-Dieu by two eminent specialists in Rhone wines and friends since their oenology studies in Montpellier: the late Philippe Cambie, who passed away in 2021, and Gilles Ferran. Together, the two friends will have signed fifteen vintages: wines that always have a good place in the Guide. A single cuvée for this estate and a label that pays homage to the félibre Frédéric Mistral and the fisherman of one of his poems, in the Provençal language. Equally Provençal, is the alliance of Grenache (70%) and Mourvèdre in this charming red, with a delicately woody bouquet of candied Morello cherries. Built on well-coated tannins, the palate unfolds these same flavors impregnated with sweet spices in a round flesh, imprinted with sweetness.”
