« Les Escaravailles is one of my favorite estates in Rasteau. The appellation owes a lot to them. I know a lot of wine-lovers who discover Rasteau thanks to this estate. The Ferran family has a distinctive style; their wines are always thick and smooth, but never heavy. Their Rasteau wines are of exceptional quality and highly prized.
If you look at their neighbours in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, for a Grenache structure of this quality, you would have to spend up to €40 more to reach this level of quality. This really is the flagship estate! »
